Episode 10 – Jessica Starr

Jessica Starr – Launch Your Farm – Episode 10

Listen To The Podcast

Welcome back to our tenth episode of the Launch Your Farm Show where I interview Jessica Starr with Keller Williams in Connecticut.

Jessica and I discuss how she went from being a brand new newly-wed  to getting laid off from her job within 2 weeks of her husband losing his job to jumping into real estate to take control of her life. She shares some of her hardships over the years and how she continually pushes to grow and thrive.

One of the big themes for Jessica and her business is making an impact in their community. Jessica shares some of the incredible things they have done in their community and the lives that have been changed as a result of it. From helping save local businesses, to getting exposure for her own business, Jessica shares some valuable insights and knowledge on how you can build a strong community presence while impacting so many.  And as Jessica say’s “You literally can change people’s lives!”

In this episode Jessica and I talk about:

  • How she helped coach local business owners to help them during Covid and what you can do to provide value to the local businesses in your area.
  • Jessica shares how her theme in her business of “Passionate Momentum” allows you to build a business that doesn’t chase dollars, but makes an impact first and the dollars follow!
  • What steps you can do to make an impact in your community RIGHT NOW.
  • A SUPER easy way to help you come up with events and experiences for your clients that will be fun for them, create value and help them stay clients for life.
  • How important it is to realize that no matter what level of money you have, time is your most valuable asset.
  • Plus a ton of other ideas and events you can put into your business right now!

About Jessica Starr

Jessica Starr is a married mother of 4 children. She balances a successful real estate career and takes pride in her time blocking; choosing to be present over perfect over all of her important life events.   She has been the New England Cultural Ambassador, the top KW Cares contributor and the #1 profit share earner for the last 8 years.

She began her real estate career 15 years ago at the age of 23 and has had a team for the past 8 years. From 2012-2017 she led the #1 team in total homes sold and volume. The team sells between 175-200 homes annually. The team’s 2nd best year in real estate was 2018 however they fell to #3 in all categories. During this year, she disassembled and reassembled her team while regaining her health and happiness, losing 85 pounds.

Since her time at KW, she had 2 of her 4 children and her husband had a traumatic accident with a year-long recovery period. During this time, her father went through a year of medical turmoil from a bad surgery. She made countless flights to and from Cleveland to advocate for him and be by his side. The year ended with his untimely passing, all while the team was growing and business was booming. As a 16 time BOLD graduate, she used the lessons, scripts and dialogues to not only time block and prospect out of state to lead her team while using BOLD’s life lessons to support her family.
