The 90-Day Farming Challenge

The 90-Day Farming Challenge: What Would You Do If You Had to Dominate a New Area from Scratch?
If I had to move tomorrow and start completely fresh in a brand-new market - no past clients, no listings, and no name recognition... I know exactly what I’d do.
I’d treat it like a 90-day challenge to build traction in my new farm, one phase at a time.
Not with gimmicks.
Not with massive ad spend.
Just a clear, consistent plan to show up, add value, and build local presence the right way.
This is the same approach I teach inside Local Expert Launch, to help agents make serious progress in their farms, even without big budgets or fancy tools.

Here’s how I’d tackle it:
👉 Days 1 - 30: Build Awareness
The first 30 days are all about visibility. Not lead gen. Not conversions. Just showing up and letting people know I exist.
That might mean some light-touch door knocking, simple intro videos, community-based posts, or dropping off a hyperlocal market report.
I wouldn’t overthink it! But I would make sure I was showing up in multiple ways. These early touches set the tone, and it’s not about perfection. It’s about presence.
👉 Days 31 - 60: Build Consistency
Once I’ve made some light touches, it’s time to follow through. This is where most people either stall out or accidentally ghost their farm.
In this second phase, I’d focus on layering in my second and third touches. Reposting value-based content. Following up with people I met. Circling back to past doors.
The key here isn’t to be louder. It’s to be reliable. To show that I’m here to stay and that I bring something valuable to the table.
👉 Days 61 - 90: Build Momentum
Now that the groundwork is laid, this is where things start to take off.
At this point, I’d lean into what’s working. I'd focus on bringing value to your audience on a regular basis. Focus on getting people to put their hands up and connecting with you. You could offer a valuable monthly report (like we've designed and teach you in The Academy).
Also, I might automate one piece of my outreach, introduce a new strategy (like borrowing listings to advertise or a local business feature series), or double down on one of the touchpoints that got great feedback in the first place.
The goal here isn’t to completely reinvent the wheel. It’s to turn consistency into compounding results. This is when farming starts to feel like it’s actually working.
So now that you have a simple 90 day plan in place, it's time to put it into action!
If you're trying to launch or relaunch your own farm, this challenge-style approach works incredibly well, especially when you keep it focused and simple.
I put together a one-page planning sheet that maps out this exact 90-day framework so you can create your own version of the challenge.
If you want a copy, just comment or DM me with “Launch Sheet” and I’ll send it your way.
Start simple. Stay consistent. Momentum will follow.

P.S. This 90-Day Challenge is just a small part of what I cover inside Local Expert Launch ... Its a step-by-step program to help agents launch, grow, and dominate their geographic farm with real strategies (not cookie-cutter tactics). If you want to go deeper, check it out. The planning sheet will give you a solid head start either way.
