Episode 76 – Patricia Guernsey
Listen On The Podcast
Welcome back to our 76th episode of the Launch Your Farm Show where I interview Patricia Guernsey with Royal Lepage in Belleville.
Today Patricia shares how she went from bartending at a young age and watching real estate agents come in and drink a lot. She felt if they could do it, how difficult it could be. She learned after a few heartaches and setbacks in the business that her strength was in connecting with people and running her business like an actual business.
Patricia has built an incredible business that is based on her community involvement with various organizations and sitting on a number of committees and boards over the years.
In this episode Patricia and I talk about:
- Why it’s important to be part of community causes you actually care about and are interested in if you want to build the best connections and actually enjoy doing it.
- Patricia shares how volunteering can be more impactful than just writing a check to a cause you care about because you get to know people and businesses that you wouldn’t normally.
- What you should do to NOT be “salesy” when you are getting involved and how to build relationships that actually matter.
- A SUPER easy way to leverage your interests, family, or other things in your life that you have going on to find opportunities to get involved.
- How you can get even more from your connections to build a steady flow of leads that can fill your business funnel.
- Plus a ton of other ideas that you can use to grow geographic farm!
