Welcome back to our 34th episode of the Launch Your Farm Show where I interview Andre Chin with Keller Williams in Waterloo.
Today Andre and talk about how he started in the industry just after the recession hit and had friends and family telling him not to start. While working in the computer programing and web development world he lost his job due to cutbacks. That’s when he decided to jump into real estate when a number of people start telling him he would be a great agent but wasn’t sure if it was the right fit for him.
After having a more seasoned agent take him under his wing Andre learned to mix old school and new school marketing to develop a system that can be used to scale in any farm.

During his years in the service industry, and the thousands of “tell me about you” conversations, He recognized his ability to listen and deliver what his customers wanted. It was a friend who recommended he get into real estate where he could maximize his potential and customer service skills. During his first year as a Realtor, he knew he was hooked and hasn’t looked back since.
It’s not uncommon to find Andre up working till midnight, and then up early the next morning at the gym. When not working, running, or working out, He enjoys relaxing at home with a glass of red wine or a craft brewed beer listening to music, cooking (which is a huge passion), or reading (whenever he gets the chance), and spending time with his family.
